SKEMABOX | ANTONIOLUPI | 2011
Continuing its research and design of modular fireplaces, antoniolupi introduces Skemabox at Made Expo 2011. The new system is the result of further analysis concerning spaces and functionality, the key point of every product with a strong identity.
Skemabox is a modular fireplace made of functional elements that satisfy the diverse needs and fits the available spaces of the customers. It has a brazier and a rollaway log compartment. The new design maintains the linearity and style of antoniolupi in the rigorous shapes, while also satisfying the need to optimize spaces. The combustion chamber, in all its width, hides underneath a useful rollaway log compartment, thus seamlessly integrating all the functional components into one single geometrical volume, pure.
Skemabox, resulting from direct feedback of customers who are nowadays increasingly more conscious, it satisfies the desire to stow the wood by avoiding the build-up of dust that is typically seen in open log baskets. The combustion chamber, made entirely of steel, is equipped with a ceramic glass door which enables a lower consumption of wood/pellet whilst ensuring the flame stays alive. The fireplace respects the environment, and can be installed with a convection system, with heat pumps for carrying the heat to other rooms, or radiant coated with ceramic material with heat accumulation and slow release up to eight hours after the fire has been turned off.
