MIXIS | CRASSEVIG | 2013 I 2014

Minimalist in form and materials, Mixis is the new chair designed by Mario Ferrarini for Crassevig.

The core of the project is wood, flexible and versatile material that Mixis interprets in two of its possible formal expressions: solid wood and plywood.

The combination of these two strong personalities is technically solved through their perfect fusion, so that the chair is ideally represented as the result of a continuous strip that functionally defines all its parts. The whole is smooth and graceful, made of sinuous and fascinating lines, making Mixis a seat with elegant aesthetics and well-reasoned comfort. Ideal for both the home and the community, Mixis is also available in padded seat version.

The stool features the same light, flowing lines and inclined legs as the chair, as well as milling that forms the housing that allows the frame to support the seat.

The table follows the same philosophy of creating a perfect union of solid wood and plywood. It is available in square (80, 90 or 100 cm side), rectangular and round (90, 100, 110 or 120 cm diameter) versions.
